Viral amplification. Either when someone dies and reanimates, or when the
viral load in their bloodstream gets too high due to either blood loss or
exposure to the activated form of the virus. I think this was the latter;
I was bleeding out so fast, but I'm pretty sure I turned before outright
dying.
Otherwise it would have taken a little while for me to reanimate.
